How To Buy Boots – The Paul Bond Experience

April, 2021

If you are looking for a real western boot experience, look no further than Paul Bond boots located in Nogales, Arizona. Paul Bond has been in the boot making business since 1946 and his handmade boots are second to none.

We were staying in Green Valley, AZ, during the 2021 winter and it was just a short 41 mile trip to the front door of Paul Bond. If you are arriving from Tucson, then you will have about an hour drive – its easy and its interstate all the way.

Its free to walk inside the Paul Bond Boot company and stroll around through the different work stages of boot making. The local boot makers are all hard at work and allow you to take pictures and ask questions about the boot process. It’s fascinating and these boots are ALL handmade.

You can’t miss the rustic building and the horse statues outside.
Lots of leather patterns and colors to choose from for your new custom boots.
If you are a frequent customer, they will have your shoe mold all ready for your next pair of boots.
Multiple patterns and templates ready to go.
These machines may be old but they are the key component to the amazing stitching.

Directions: From Green Valley take I-19 for approximately 36 miles. Take Exit 4 for AZ-189S and turn right on W Mariposa Road.

  1. I, too, hold special memories of visiting the Paul Bond Boot Co. when we visited Green Valley and stayed in Tucson for a month. It is certainly a memorable tour as every detail is done the ol’ fashioned way and the craftsmanship is truly amazing. These boots are a work of art!!!
